Meeting Ended without any breakthrough, Famers to Wait for Next Round of Talks with Centre...

It’s 39th day of agitation, Even more Significant numbers of farmer join from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh have been demonstrating in a peace manner at the borders of Delhi demanding repeal of the three farm laws, among other issues. Yesterday, consecutive seventh round of discussion took place between the government and farmers representatives, but unfortunately, it was ended without any productive conclusion. Hence, all eyes on the next round of talks which is expected on January 8, sources said. In the crucial meeting with the farmer’s representative which was held at Vigyan Bhavan, From the Government side, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Consumer Affairs Minister Piyush Goyal and Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Som Parkash, Agriculture Secretary Sanjay Agarwal and other Ministry officials were present. The Government Personalities tried their best to persuade the farmers to end their agitation by adopting a middle path, but all went in vain. With present ongoing complicated situation, here to note down, The protesting farmers have already informed they will carry out a tractor rally towards Delhi on Republic Day, if their demands to take back the three contentious farm laws are not fulfilled and Farmer's also insisted for a written assurance on the Minimum Support Price (MSP) keeping farmer’s benefit in mind.
